Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Rendelog mobile application and this website. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.
1. Agreement
By downloading, installing or using Rendelog you agree to be bound by these terms and by all applicable laws. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Rendelog on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, redistribute or attempt to extract the recipe library or the app source, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
3. AI-generated content — important
Rendelog uses artificial intelligence to generate recipes, adaptations, substitutions and troubleshooting advice. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your situation.
We do not warrant the completeness, nutritional accuracy, dietary suitability or allergen safety of any AI-generated content. You are solely responsible for verifying that a recipe and its ingredients are safe and appropriate for you, including with regard to allergies, intolerances, medical conditions, religious or ethical dietary requirements, and food-safety practices such as cooking temperatures and storage.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Rendelog to generate unlawful, harmful or abusive content, not to attempt to circumvent usage limits or purchase verification, and not to interfere with the service or the systems it depends on. We may suspend access where these terms are breached.
5. Free plan, limits and ads
Core features are free. AI features are subject to a usage allowance which we may adjust in order to keep the service sustainable and to prevent abuse. Where available, rewarded advertising can provide additional AI credit. We do not guarantee that any specific limit, promotion or ad availability will continue indefinitely.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription purchased and billed through Google Play. Payment is charged to your Google account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions. Refunds are handled according to Google Play policy; we will assist where we can, but we do not process card payments ourselves.
7. Availability
We aim to keep Rendelog available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features that depend on internet access, third-party AI providers or app-store infrastructure may be temporarily unavailable. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.
8. Intellectual property
Rendelog, its name, logo, interface, curated recipe library and underlying software are the property of Saturn Software and are protected by intellectual-property law. Recipes you write yourself remain yours.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saturn Software is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any loss arising from reliance on AI-generated content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. The current version always lives on this page with its “last updated” date. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
